Hometown updates for Kleikamp Racing

Another great race weekend has passed and Jaime remains in 5th place in the light buggy points race. Finishing with 4th on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday, the Kleikamp Race Team was very pleased. Now we are looking forward to having a stellar weekend in Crandon, not only to win the points race, but to re-claim the World Championship title. This year is Crandon's 40th Anniversary. The team will be out in Crandon for a whole week prior to the race weekend to be a part in the celebrations. Jaime hopes to practice on the track the weekend before the races to try some new improvements on the buggy. Hope to see you in Crandon Sept. 5 & 6!

Back to Bark-River for the weekend!

Jaime & the crew are geared up and ready for the upcoming weekend. Jaime tested the buggy this past week and things are looking great for the 7, 8, & 9th. Tune into RRN stations on Friday morning to hear Jaime and Brad Erickson live at White's Exxon. The race car will also be on display on Friday afternoon at one of our sponsors, Big O's Lube & Service in Stephenson. The car will be there until its time to head to the track for pre-run action! Under The Lights In Oshkosh

Oshkosh was a fair weekend for the Kleikamp Race Team. Jaime got 2nd place on Friday night after a run to the front of the pack. Jaime started 8th and made his way to the leading cars one buggy at a time. With the fastest lap time, Jaime was surely cruising along while hooking up like crazy with his BF Goodrich tires. On Saturday night, Jaime started 11th and was on his way to the top when he clipped a white tire trying to pass for 3rd place. This left him on his side with a broken wheel hub, CV, and some minor bends, & dents. Thankfully all was well inside the buggy and Jaime walked away with only some bruises. The team has been working on the buggy since we got back from Oshkosh to get things straightened out and ready for Bark River on Aug. 7th-9th. Currently Jaime is in 5th place for points and only 18 points away from 1st. This is without a doubt within reach for the Kleikamp crew! Hope to see you all in Bark River. Bark River gets DIRTY

Another successful race weekend has passed. Jaime took 4th place on Saturday and 2nd place on Sunday. Jaime had the hole shot on Sunday and led for a couple laps until he was passed by Greg Stingle in the back section. We are very excited about this podium finish and hope there are more to come. Jaime remains in 4th place in season points. The top 5 drivers are within 5 points of eachother, so this is a very tight race to the top! Oshkosh is July 24th and 25th. Home track racing this weekend!

Jaime and the crew are putting the final touches on the buggy for the races this weekend in our home town of BARK-RIVER! Be sure to stop by and visit us in the pits. Jaime races at 12:30 in the 1600 Light Buggy class. It should be a great weekend. As of right now, Jaime is in 4th place in the points race. We hope to climb that ladder to the top! Off to a good start in Crandon

What a HOT weekend it was in Crandon, WI. Jaime finished 4th on Saturday and 7th on Sunday. Jaime is standing 4th in points so far. He had great starts both days, after getting knocked around by other buggys, Jaime finished pretty well. On Sunday Jaime also had the fastest lap time in his class with a 1:49.00. That shows we have the speed to be running up front! We are very excited for Bark River on July 11th & 12th. Hope you all can make it out to our home track.

Geared up for Crandon

The Kleikamp Race Team is almost ready to head out to Crandon this weekend. Just some final touches are left on the buggy. Jaime tested the buggy this past week and he was FLYIN'! We are all very excited to begin the 2009 race season.
