Starting early in life, Jaime began racing Light Buggy in 2001 at the age 18. Father, Gerald Kleikamp had kindled Jaime’s spark and passion for racing. Having raced almost 30 years ago, stories of races held well before the CORR circuit had developed, only intrigued and determined Jaime all the more, to someday race as his father had.
His father’s old buggy helped developed Jaime’s mechanical skills. Barely big enough to see over the steering wheel, Jaime would get that buggy running long enough to make a few muddy passes around the hayfield.
Who knew that someday, that muddy little kid in his father’s old race buggy would be winning races and producing great competition in the WSORR and CORR Circuits.
Jaime now has his own Light Buggy and has experienced racing Super Buggy.
Jaime may be a young competitor, but has all the skill, potential and determination to move up in classes and in points standings.
